It’s such a natural, friendly, funny and unrehearsed conversation. It’s refreshing but at the same time it’s sad to think that something like that would never be on TV today. First of all, network TV doesn’t do variety shows anymore and the one place you’d think might give a yong comedian a chance ends up committing to Mind of Mencia and cancelling Comedians of Comedy. Bygones. Secondly, religious and political ideology is so polarized today that a modern Woody Allen and a modern Billy Graham would not trust each other enough to do this. Anyway, enjoy.
